Rev. Patrick Reid – Biography

Rev. Patrick Reid is the founder and Pastor of Cornerstone Baptist Tabernacle, Toronto. He was born in Barbados. He was converted at age seventeen, and felt the call to Christian ministry. He is a graduate of Caribbean Wesleyan College, Barbados, and of College of Staten Island, New York.

Former pastorates include: Union Baptist Church, Chatham, and Ossington Avenue Baptist Church,Toronto.

From 1976 to 1992 he served as an ordained minister of the Baptist Convention of Ontario & Quebec. In 1992 he founded Cornerstone Baptist Tabernacle.

In 2000 he established a 50-Bed Shelter for the homeless in his church. The shelter provides a place to sleep, delicious meals, addictions and employment counseling, help in finding permanent housing, and much more.

Giving pastoral leadership to his congregation and serving the needs of the homeless, thoroughly fulfils the dreams of Rev Reid.

In 1992 he joined ECAMFC and presently serves as a member of the Board of Directors.
