Software and Technical Services Donations to Charitable Organizations

Not-for-profit/Charitable organizations are eligible to participate in the TechSoup Canada Technology Donations Program.

I have been using this service for our church for the last two years and saved $3000 in software purchases at a cost of $85.

Joining is free. You must sign in at techsoup.ca. You pay only for what you buy.

General eligibility criteria:

  • Canadian charities must be registered with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA)
  • Canadian nonprofits must be registered with their provinces or territories, or federally with Industry Canada
  • All organizations need to submit proper documentation (business registration documentation for nonprofits; written proof of charitable status from Canadian Revenue Agency) to verify their nonprofit or charitable status. See How to Register for more details

Dr. Maurizio Mingardi

About Maurizio Mingardi

Dr. Maurizio Mingardi, in 1972, had an encounter with God that totally changed his life. From a scientist doing research in Quantum Mechanics and an atheist, Maurizio became a believer and a disciple of Jesus Christ. Then a spiritual journey began. He was filled with the Holy Spirit and later started Mount Zion Church of the Firstborn in Ottawa, Ontario. Maurizio has been in the ministry for more than 30 years and is presently the Senior Pastor of Mount Zion Church. He has also filled a number of executive positions in public and religious organizations. In 2014 he was elected President of ECAMFC.
