Report: Ottawa Regional Meeting – October 24, 2015

Attending: 8 members + 6 guests

This is the third meeting held in Ottawa.

We started with prayer and a time of worship.

Dr. Mingardi welcomed those attending who then briefly introduced themselves.

Dr. Mingardi shared about the ECAMFC:

  • our goals to improve the services we provide and to grow our membership
  • our new brochure and logo
  • new free advertising on our web site for our members (availability for work and vacant positions in churches)
  • a new Facebook page for ECAMFC (for improving communication with our members and increasing ECAMFC visibility)
  • planned expansion of the Bible Extension Institute curriculum with courses for applicants and for updating members

A light lunch was served and the participants then broke into small groups to share and pray for each others’ needs and ministry.

The presence of the Holy Spirit was strong throughout the meeting and people kept talking and sharing with each other. Everybody left glad that they came and restating their interest in meeting regularly.

About Maurizio Mingardi

Dr. Maurizio Mingardi, in 1972, had an encounter with God that totally changed his life. From a scientist doing research in Quantum Mechanics and an atheist, Maurizio became a believer and a disciple of Jesus Christ. Then a spiritual journey began. He was filled with the Holy Spirit and later started Mount Zion Church of the Firstborn in Ottawa, Ontario. Maurizio has been in the ministry for more than 30 years and is presently the Senior Pastor of Mount Zion Church. He has also filled a number of executive positions in public and religious organizations. In 2014 he was elected President of ECAMFC.
