Ottawa Regional Meeting – April 18, 2015 – Report

Location: Head Office
715 St. Laurent Blvd. Ottawa, ON, K1K 3A6
11:30 am – 2:30 pm

This is the second meeting held in Ottawa.

Dr. Mingardi welcomed the 18 people who came to the meeting. They included members, applicants and guests. Some came from as far as Peterborough.

We started with prayer and a light luncheon as participants mingled together.

Dr. Mingardi explained the purpose of the meeting and asked the attendant to introduce and share briefly about themselves.

The participants then broke into small groups to share and pray for each others’ needs and ministry.

It was good to see that participants shared issues they were facing at a personal and ministry level and could receive encouragement, advice and prayer from the others.

The general response was that this type of meeting is greatly needed. People who had not seen each other for a long time, were glad to get together. One guest expressed his interest in joining ECAMFC and said that he will send an application to become a member.

To promote the growth of ECAMFC, we need to decentralize. We are planning to have Regional Meetings in  other areas to increase the local exposure of ECAMFC and reach out for new members.
