2013 ECAMFC – National Convention Report

We had a good turn out at our convention and a blessed time of fellowship. We are grateful to the Prayer Palace and the staff there for graciously providing us their facilities for the Convention.

Four new members were interviewed and accepted in ECAMFC. They are:

  1. Rev. Jose Francisco Argueta – ordained – reintstated
  2. Rev. Ann Bell – licensed
  3. Rev. Marilyn Craig – licensed
  4. Rev. John Williams – ordained – transfer

We recorded the messages of the Convention speakers but we are disappointed that they did not turn out.

Dr. Mingardi announced at the General Meeting the proceedings of the Board of Directors.

  • All the members of the Board of Directors were re-elected in their positions for this year.
  • The Board discussed the need to review the constitution of ECAMFC and its bylaws. The members will be informed of the proposed changes.
  • The first change will be the implementation of a bylaw defining the process for nomination of new members for the Board of Directors. This bylaw is presently being finalized by the members of the Board and will be distributed to all the members as soon as it will be ready.
  • The next change will be the implementation of Regional Representatives and Regional Meetings. This development was presented at the previous General Meeting and the preparation work for it has been completed. The objective of this initiative is to ensure closer contact with all our members, better support and fellowship and improved accountability. More information will be available on this later this year.

We look forward to and pray for all our members for a blessed and successful 2013.
